Melbourne’s original artist provocateur Lush is known for his confrontational, un-politically correct murals that take down contemporary culture, that he refers to as “memeism”.
Known as the “graffiti asshole”, his bawdy and grotesque art has won him fans like Banksy, (who invited him to take part in his group show Dismaland) and also plenty of enemies.
In 2015 he surprised Haifa’s local scene with a naked performance work as part of his solo exhibition at Ghostown’s former venue Kartel. He also got the crew into trouble when eight police cars showed up after he painted a mural depicting decapitation.
